Directly at the National Park Eifel in the province of Nordrhein-Westfalen lies Landal Resort Eifeler Tor. The Resort consists of 170 luxury holiday accommodations, of which 96 holiday homes and 74 apartments. The holiday homes and apartments of Resort Eifeler Tor have been built in 18 different versions and are suitable to accommodate 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 persons. The architecture of the holiday homes and apartment buildings with the characteristic gables and the craftsmanship style, reflects the characteristic architectural
style of the region. Resort Eifeler Tor has a large number of facilities: indoor and outdoor swimming pool, wellness centre, two playgrounds, a Bollo Club, a cinema, traditional German restaurant with brewery, Italian restaurant with outdoor terrace, bar, super market, boutiques, conference centre, bar, and a petting zoo. Typical for the resort is the location of the homes and apartments on the slight hill which means a free view of the green valley and the winding river the Rur from nearly every home and apartment.
