Resort

How far away is Dormio Bonaire Village located from the centre of Kralendijk?

Dormio Bonaire Village is a 20-minute walk from the centre of Kralendijk. It is a 6-minute drive by car.

Is it allowed to bring my dog(s)?

In Dormio Bonaire Village dogs are allowed, a maximum of two per home and at an additional cost of €35,- per dog.

Is there a possibility to park my car at the resort?

You can park your car in the free car park next to your accommodation.

Is smoking allowed in the accommodation?

No, smoking in the accommodation is prohibited.

Is it allowed to receive guests at the accommodation?

Yes, this is allowed! Report it in advance at the reception.

Is the resort accessible for the disabled?

Some apartments are located on the ground floor, but they do not have facilities for disabled visitors.

Is it allowed to barbecue on the resort?

Yes that is allowed. However, we do not have barbecues available ourselves; you can bring your own.

Is it possible to check-in earlier than indicated?

The check-in time is 15:00. If you want to check-in earlier and the accommodation is available this is possible! You can contact the reception on the day of arrival (tel: 005 9978 0160825) to discuss the possibilities.

From what time can I check-in?

You can check-in from 15:00.

At what time do I have to check-out?

You can check-out until 11:00 at the latest.

What are the opening hours of the reception?

The reception is open from 8:00 till 19:00. Different opening hours, in connection with incoming and outgoing flights, are negotiable.

I have lost my key, what should I do?

If you have lost your key, you must report this to the resort reception.

Facilities

Is there a swimming pool at the resort?

Yes, we have a wonderful centrally located outdoor swimming pool.

Is there a diving school at the resort?

We offer you a discount at renowned diving schools. The nearest diving school is within walking distance of Dormio Bonaire Village.

 

Is there free Wi-Fi at the resort?

Yes, there is excellent (free) Wi-Fi coverage throughout the resort.

General

Can I pay with Euro’s on Bonaire?

No, the US dollar is the official currency of Bonaire.

Is it allowed to create a campfire?

No, this is not allowed.

Where can I dispose my waste?

You can dispose of your waste at the main building.

Reservations

Do I have to pay a deposit?

A deposit of €300,- may be requested.

How does the payment work?

You will receive an invoice from us within two working days of your reservation. After you received the invoice, we ask you to pay 50% of the total amount. 30 days before arrival we ask you to transfer the remaining amount.

 

Did you make a reservation within 30 days of arrival? Than we ask you to pay the full amount immediately.

Is it possible to cancel a reservation?

Yes, cancellation is possible: If you cancel or change your booking, our general conditions apply:

  • You can cancel and/or change free of charge 30 days prior to arrival;
  • In case of cancellation between 30 days and 15 days before the arrival of the stay, we will apply a cancellation fee of 50% of the accommodation costs;
  • In case of cancellation between 14 days and 7 days before the arrival of the stay, we apply a cancellation fee of 75% of the accommodation costs;
  • In case of cancellation between 6 days and 1 day before the arrival of the stay, we apply a cancellation fee of 100% of the accommodation costs;
  • If you do not show up or if you leave earlier, you owe the full booking amount.

 

 

Is it possible for me to change my reservation?

Yes, based on availability that is possible. However, if necessary, we do charge € 22.50 change costs.

 

Is it possible to extend my reservation?

If there is availability, you can extend your reservation.
