The Costa Blanca has more than 175 beaches and bays. A visit to one of these beautiful places is an activity that should definitely not be missed during your holiday. Are you a lover of sandy beaches? Then visit San Juan beach, which is about 3 kilometres long and has a pleasant promenade. From the promenade, you can take the winding walkway to arrive at Arenales del Sol. This is a 7 kilometres long sandy beach with calm waters and a unique dune landscape in the background.

A beach in Alicante province that is also well worth a visit is Cala Lanuza. This sandy beach is right next to the luxury Dormio Resort Costa Blanca. Cala Lanuza is a small cove consisting of fine sand where you can relax.

El Misterio de Elche is a religious drama performed annually on 14 and 15 August in the Basilica of Santa María. A true spectacle!
The Pusol Museum was the last to be added to the list in 2009. It was then included in the Register of Inspiring Examples of the Committee for the Protection of Intangible Heritage.
