How far away is Dormio Resort Maastricht located from the centre of Maastricht?

The Maastricht Centre is a 10-minute bicycle ride from the resort.

The travel time by car to other places in the area:

Valkenburg - 22 minutes

Gulpen - 26 minutes

Hasselt - 26 minutes

Liège - 30 minutes

Aachen - 36 minutes

Brussels - 72 minutes

Is it allowed to bring my dog(s)?

Yes, at the resort dogs are allowed in some of our accommodations. The fee for including a dog is € 39.50 per dog per stay. 

It is not possible to bring your dog with you in the kids and wellness houses and in the Prestige apartments. Pets are always on request.

Is there a possibility to park my car at the resort?

Did you rent a holiday home? Than you can park your car right next to the house. Did you rent an apartment? Than you can park at the designated parking spaces.

 

How many people can stay at the accommodation?

You can book homes that are suitable for two to twenty people.

Is smoking allowed in the accommodation?

No, smoking in the accommodation is prohibited.

Can I reach the resort by public transport?

Yes, this is possible: From Maastricht Central you can best take 'Stadsbus 2’ to ‘’De Heeg via MUMC'.

Then get off at the 'Malpertuisplein' stop and from there it is a 14-minute walk to our hotel.

Is the resort accessible for disabled people?

Yes, in two types of the houses there is a bedroom on the ground floor. Those are:

 

- Gildehuis (max. 6 persons)

- Hofmeesterhuis (max. 8 persons)

 

Is it allowed to barbecue at the resort?

Yes, that's allowed. In the local store on the resort you can buy a BBQ and charcoal.

Is it allowed to create a campfire?

No, this is not allowed.

Where can I dispose my waste?

There are underground waste containers at the resort.

Is it possible to reach Dormio Resort Maastricht by taxi?

Yes, it is possible! For taxi transport we work together with a reliable partner. For a ride to or from the Vrijthof, the central station in Maastricht or the conference and exhibition centre MECC, you can contact Taxi Royal. You can check-in starting from 15:00.

At what time do I have to check out?

You can check out until 11:00.

What are the opening hours of the reception?

 

The reception of Dormio Resort Maastricht is open 24 hours a day.

 

 

Is it allowed to receive guests at my accommodation?

Yes, this is allowed! Report it in advance at the reception.

I have lost my key, what should I do?

If you have lost your key, you must report this to the resort reception.

Kids

Is the resort child-friendly?

Dormio Resort Maastricht is very suitable for (small) children.

There is a high chair and a cot available in each house.

 

We also have special Kids houses in the Kids Quarter. The Kids Quarter is a separate section in Dormio Resort Maastricht that is fully equipped for parents with (young) children. In the common courtyard, which is adjacent to the back gardens of the 'Kids houses', are various playing equipment. These homes are also equipped with child safety locks on the cupboards, child-friendly sockets and a stair gate.

Are there children's activities at the resort?

The youngest guests in the age category of two to nine years of age can go to the Mio Kids Club where all sorts of enjoyable activities are organised. For teenagers in the age category of 9 to 14 years of age we have put together a special Fun & Active programme with cool sporting activities, enjoyable workshops and challenging games.

The Fun & Entertainment program can be picked up at the reception.

Facilities

Is there a restaurant at the resort?

Restaurant Rantrée is located on top of Hotel De Prins van Oranje. In this typical Maastricht restaurant you can dine very exclusive with a very special panoramic view of the surroundings. Downstairs at Het Wilhelmus you can enjoy snacks or ice cream in our Food Trucks. For a delicious wine, beer or something stronger you can go to the adjacent grand café 't Proeflokaal.

Is there free Wi-Fi at the resort?

Yes, there is excellent (free) Wi-Fi coverage throughout the resort.

Is there a swimming pool?

There is a lovely indoor pool for all ages, including a slide and a children's play pool.

Is it possible to rent (a) bicycle(s)?

City bikes, e-bikes and kids bikes of very good quality and with a choice of different gears can be rented at ‘Fietsverhuur Dousberg’ on the Wilhelmusplein at the resort. At the bike rental and the reception, various cycling routes and maps are available to discover the beautiful surroundings of Maastricht.

 

Reservations

Do I have to pay a deposit?

You may need to pay a deposit, which can be paid by debit or credit card. The amount will be refunded after an inspection. The amount of the deposit is based on the maximum number of people per chalet and the number of holiday homes that you rent:

Holiday home sleeping 2-14 people   € 300
Holiday home sleeping > 14 people   € 500
2 or more holiday homes   € 500
Mastervillas   € 800

How does the payment work?

For reservations at the flexible price full payment is due 21 days prior to arrival. For reservations at the standard price (non-cancellable, non-refundable, not modifiable), the total amount of the stay must be paid immediately. During the booking process you will be redirected to our payment provider where you can pay online.

Is it possible to cancel a reservation?

Reservations made at the standard price (non-cancellable, non-refundable, non modifiable) cannot be cancelled free of charge. Reservations made at the flexible price can be cancelled and/or modified up to 21 days prior to arrival. Is it possible to extend my reservation?

If there is availability, you can extend your reservation.

I have lost my invoice, what should I do?

Can I book an accommodation for today?

If there is still availability, it is possible to book an accommodation for today until 5pm via the website. Would you like to book after 5pm? Then please contact the reception by phone on +31 (0)43 204 30 80. We will be happy to look into the possibilities for you!

Can I change my reservation?

If you have made a reservation at the flexible price, you can change your reservation up to 21 days before arrival. All changes are subject to availability. Please contact our reservations department at booking@dormioholidays.com  or by phone at 0031 26-3537725. Reservations made at the standard price (non-cancellable, non-refundable, non modifiable) cannot be changed.
