A ski bus stops at the central car park of the Resort. Which brings you to the track.
At the Resort itself there are no ski lessons, but you can get a recommendation at the reception.
You can rent skis, ski boots, a ski helmet and snow shoes at ‘’Sportshop Feuerer KG’’. From the resort you can easily reach the shop by foot.

Our resort has a swimming pool, a gym and of course you can ski. There are also various cycling and hiking routes.
A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed per booked accommodation. The fee for including a dog is € 39.50 per dog per stay.
Pets are always on request.
Train
The Dormio resort Obertraun is very easy to reach by train. Get off at the stop Obertraun-Dachsteinhöhlen. From Vienna, the resort is less than four hours away. From Salzburg it is less than two and a half hours to the resort. In both cases you can change to Attnang-Puchheim. From the train station it is only a five-minute walk to the resort.
Of course, the train is also a perfect means of transport for day trips. Train tickets can easily be bought at the station at the ticket machine. In case you have any questions, there is also staff available. Bad Ischl is 30 minutes by train, Bad Aussee is 15 minutes away and Gmunden is 1 hour by train.

Bus
The bus is a quick and easy option to reach various sights nearby. Both a bus ride to Hallstatt and Dachstein-Krippenstein valley station (Five Fingers-Mammut Cave and Ice Cave) takes less than 10 minutes and costs €2,20 for a single ticket. The bus also drives to more distant places such as Gossau and Bad Goisern. Ask the reception for actual departure times.

Taxi
Taxi Rastl is available day and night and offers a solution for airport transfers, hiking destinations, if you want to take your bike with you, a visit to Hallstatt or the Dachstein-Krippensteinbahn or other destinations on request. The taxi can accommodate up to eight people, which means that you can reach your destination with a larger group.

Taxi boat
Between April and October Hallstatt can also be visited by boat. In a historic boat type called 'a Zille', you will be sailed over the lake. There are also large touring boats that sail for example to Bad Goisern and Obersee. In winter you can also book boat trips by appointment.
