Residence Bellevue has a perfect west-facing location and is therefore a popular home base during both the winter and the summer to visit the surroundings of the Zeller See.
With a direct shore connection to the Zeller See, guests are able to enjoy the beautiful environment and the water during the summer. The excursion boat docks at the Residence. In the winter, when the Zeller See is frozen, you can make amazing ice-skating tours on natural ice.
Zell am See
Zell am See is a beautiful, authentic and typical Austrian town. The cosy centre is pedestrianised. The village has several cosy terraces, a few of which with a view of the lake. The village has a great shopping area with a large number of shops. The centre of the neighbouring Thumersbach (also called: Zell am See-Ost) can be reached by foot from the Residence.
Zell am See has its own ski area. The Schmittenhöhe has a various range of descents and can be called reasonably snow-guaranteed. Approximately 70% of the descents is situated above 1,400 metres. Other ski areas are also not far away. In the cosy town of Kaprun, you can ski throughout the year on the impressive glacier. The area around the Maiskogel (approx. 1,700 metres) is more suitable for the beginning skier. Cross-country skiers also have ample possibilities here, varying from several marked trails in the valley to ‘höhen’ (higher) marked trails on the Zeller mountain and the glacier. The ski bus will take you to your desired location for free.
