Spectacular sandy beach
Berck-sur-Mer has a spectacular sandy beach. But you must nog forget to drive up north where you’ll find the sophisticated seaside town of Le Touquet. A beautiful walk through Le Touquet brings you along pristine nature, luxury neighbourhoods and secluded beaches.
Further towards the north you will find Boulogne-sur-Mer, the first known large fishing village and harbour of France. In this cosy old town you will find some excellent fish restaurants. Boulogne-sur-Mer also characterises the beginning of the regional nature reserve of Caps et Marais d’Opale. In this park the villages of Wimereux, Audresselles and Ambleteuse and the beautiful village of Wissant are located. These are authentic fishing villages with historical city centres and cosy restaurants with a nice sea view.
