Right outside our resort, you will find a ski lift that gives you access to various ski areas for beginners to experienced winter sports enthusiasts. The La Balme ski area has mainly blue slopes and is ideal for a first introduction to skiing. In the Les Houches ski area, you will find several ski schools and closed slopes especially for children. La Poya is a smaller ski area that is particularly popular with beginner skiers and cross-country skiers. The ski areas are easily accessible from Vallorcine. Do you enjoy a brisk walk through the winter landscape? Then we highly recommend this walk: Les Granges de Vallorcine. This is a walk that you must do with snowshoes. - The Vallorcine cliff is located beyond the Montets and offers easy to moderate climbing. It is a particularly popular spot because it is suitable for novice mountaineers.
- The Col des Montets climb consists of several boulders that have been adapted to create a challenging climbing site with varying degrees of difficulty.
- The Site Passet du Haut is 1,500 meters high and offers beautiful views. This climbing site is well maintained and has seven routes that are mainly aimed at experienced climbers.
