Explore the beautiful surroundings from Aiguille du Midi viewpoint

The French Alps have a beautiful natural landscape with impressive views. Mont Blanc, with an altitude of 4,808 metres, is the absolute high point of the French Alps! Perhaps the most striking viewpoint in this area is Aiguille du Midi, which offers spectacular views of Mont Blanc and Italy. A brisk, long walk will take you to this viewpoint, or you can take the cable car, which goes steeply up the mountainside. The route to the highest point is quite an experience in itself. Are you a true daredevil? Go and have a look in the glass cube, where you can look down 1,000 metres through a glass floor!

Enjoy the charming town of Chamonix

Chamonix is a vibrant town at the foot of Mont Blanc and is a must for mountain lovers. It is situated close to our resort and is known as the alpine capital of the world. Go for a walk in the charming town centre along historic buildings and palaces or visit the activity park, where you can enjoy the toboggan runs and climbing walls with the whole family. Sampling a tasty Rablochonade is highly recommended for cheese lovers. This is a delicious raclette using the famous regional cheese, which you can also buy in one of the many shops. As a guest of our resort you will travel free to and from Chamonix by train; the station is next to the entrance to our resort. Perfect for a day out!

Hike to Cascade de Bérard
