How far away is Dormio Resort Berck-sur-Mer located from the centre of Berck?

The centre of Berck is not very big, but very cosy. Our resort is 900 meters from the centre. By car it is a 5 min drive, by bike you can get there in 10 minutes and by foot it takes about 15 minutes.

How far away is Dormio Resort Berck-sur-Mer located from the beach?

Dormio Resort Berck-Sur-Mer is only 900 meters from the beach and the lively boulevard.

Is it allowed to bring my dog(s)?

A maximum of 2 dogs is allowed per booked accommodation. The extra charge is €35,- per dog per stay.

How many people can stay at the accommodation?

All properties are suitable for use of a maximum of six people.

Is smoking allowed in the accommodation?

No, smoking in the accommodation is prohibited.

Is there free Wi-Fi at the resort?

Yes, there is excellent (free) Wi-Fi coverage throughout the resort.

Can I get to the resort by public transport?

No, unfortunately it is not possible to reach the resort by public transport.

Is the resort accessible to the disabled?

Yes, a number of houses are very accessible for disabled people.

Where can I dispose my waste?

You can dispose of your waste at the main building.

Is English an official language at the resort?

Yes, English and also French are spoken at the resort.

Is it allowed to make a campfire?

No, this is not allowed.

Is it allowed to barbecue at the resort?

Yes that is allowed. However, we do not have barbecues available ourselves; you can bring your own.

Is it possible to check-in earlier than indicated?

The check-in time is 16:00. If you want to check-in earlier and the accommodation is available this is possible! You can contact Dormio Holidays (tel +31 26 353 77 25) to discuss the possibilities.

The check-in time is 16:00.

At what time do I have to check-out?

You can check-out until 11:00 at the latest.

What are the opening hours of the reception?

The reception is opened from 09.00-12.00 and from 15.00-19.00

Is it allowed to receive guests at the accommodation?

Yes, this is allowed! Report it in advance at the reception.

I have lost my key, what should I do?

If you have lost your key, you must report this to the resort reception.


Is there a possibility to park my car at the resort?

You can park at your own accommodation.

Is it allowed to light fireworks?

No, it is not allowed to light fireworks at your accommodation.

Is the resort child-friendly?

Yes, each house is equipped with 1 baby bed and 1 high chair. There is also a playground behind the resort, which is a 4-minute walk.


Is there a swimming pool?

There is no swimming pool at the resort. However, you can go to the swimming pool at 1000 m distance (piscine Berck, 53 Rue du Calvaire, 62600 Berck, France). And of course you can go to the sea just 900m from the resort.




Do I have to pay a deposit?

A deposit of € 300,- may be requested.

How does the payment work?

You will receive an invoice from us within two working days of your reservation. After you received the invoice, we ask you to pay 50% of the total amount. 30 days before arrival we ask you to transfer the remaining amount.


Did you make a reservation within 30 days of arrival? Than we ask you to pay the full amount immediately.


Is it possible to cancel a reservation?

Yes, cancellation is possible: If you cancel or change your booking, our general conditions apply:


  • You can cancel and/or change free of charge 30 days prior to arrival;
  • In case of cancellation between 30 days and 15 days before the arrival of the stay, we will apply a cancellation fee of 50% of the accommodation costs;
  • In case of cancellation between 14 days and 7 days before the arrival of the stay, we apply a cancellation fee of 75% of the accommodation costs;
  • In case of cancellation between 6 days and 1 day before the arrival of the stay, we apply a cancellation fee of 100% of the accommodation costs;
  • If you do not show up or if you leave earlier, you owe the full booking amount.

Is it possible to adjust my reservation?

Yes, based on availability that is possible. However, if necessary, we do charge € 22.50 change costs.

Is it possible to extend my reservation?

If there is availability, you can extend your reservation.
