Cala Lanuza

At the top of our list is of course Cala Lanuza. This small and quiet beach is only a few meters away from Dormio Resort Costa Blanca Beach & Spa. It is a very famous beach and is sheltered at the ends by large rocks. Do you like snorkelling? Cala Lanuza is perfect for this.

This beach is directly accessible from the resort and most apartments have a beautiful view of it, so prepare yourself for one of the most beautiful sunrises you have ever seen!

Baños de la Reina

Baños de la Reina is one of the most famous coves in El Campello. It was formed by some "natural pools" that were used as fish farms in Roman times. There is an old legend that these pools are not natural, but were built by a Moorish queen so that she could bathe in the sea without danger.

If you like diving, Baños de la Reina is one of the best bays in El Campello. Moreover, you can also snorkel here thanks to the many corners and holes.

Tip: Wear good shoes when visiting this bay. You will only find rocks here so it is necessary to wear comfortable ones.

Cala de Punta del Riu Sec

Are you travelling with your dog to El Campello? Then Cala de Punta del Riu Sec is one of the best bays to visit. This is one of the few dog-friendly beaches in Alicante. Cala de Punta del Riu Sec is a small pebble beach in the middle of nature where you can enjoy a fun day with your family.

Cala del Llop Marí

To the north of El Campello, you will find Cala del Llop Marí. This beach offers one of the most crystal clear waters in the province. The beach is also perfect for all types of visitors, as you will find both sand and rocks.

The access to Cala del Llop Marí is a bit hidden but it is definitely worth it. The beach is not crowded which means that you can relax and enjoy the water to the fullest.

Cala Nostra

Are you looking for a secluded and charming cove? Then pay a visit to Cala Nostra. This is a bay of small stones and coarse sand with beautiful crystal clear waters. It is easily reached by tram, get off at the Amerador stop and you will be there in no time!

Tip: Bring a cooler with food and drinks to enjoy the lovely Mediterranean breeze all day.

Playa Muchavista

Playa de Muchavista is not a bay but deserves a mention on this list. This is the longest beach in El Campello and thanks to its fine beach and crystal clear waters one of the most popular ones as well. As a result, it is a fairly crowded beach but you will have no trouble finding a spot.

You can easily reach Playa de Muchavista from the city of Alicante thanks to tramline 3 and the city bus line 21. You will also find many bars, restaurants and beach bars so you can enjoy the whole day here with the family.

Do you like water sports? Then you want to visit Playa de Muchavista! You can perfectly kayak, paddle surf or windsurf here and you can rent the equipment for this directly at the beach.
